Performance premieres at the first GTC Television Academy Day

By Performance

The Guild of Television Camera Professionals (GTC) is an organisation which strives to support and recognises excellence in camerawork.

On Wednesday 8th November, the GTC will be hosting their first Television Academy Day at Bournemouth University, giving attendees the exclusive opportunity to hear from industry experts and leaders.

This series of presentations will give attendees a wealth of information from the different areas they will need to consider throughout their careers. A couple of highlights include a chance to hear from experienced experts such as Sarah Edwards, Director of Photography and Graham Maunder, Filmmaker and GTC Chairman.

Among those presenting will be our very own, Head of Performance, Michael Wood, who will be shedding light on the types of insurances filmmakers and camera operators should consider.

“I’m looking forward to speaking at another event and this time at the GTC Television Academy Day. I always find engaging with those within the Industry properly as one of the more rewarding areas of my role. It’s also great to be a part of these events which provide valuable information and hopefully something that will help support careers of those attending” said Michael Wood
