We are delighted to announce that we are now members of the Digital Production Partnership (DPP).

The DPP is a membership-based, not-for-profit company, founded by ITV, BBC and Channel 4.  The DPP membership represents the whole media supply chain, spanning from production companies, manufacturers and suppliers, to post production facilities, broadcasters and not-for-profit organizations.

This makes our partnership a great fit as Performance strives to educate and support all those active within these areas of the film and media industry.

Myself and Michael Wood, Head of Performance Film and Media, first met Andy Wilson and Claire Austin from the DPP, at the Belfast Media Festival.  They were speaking about the future of production and the evolving cyber risks currently being faced within the industry, which is something we are very concerned about at Performance.

DPP Managing Director, Mark Harrison said: “The DPP is delighted to welcome Performance Film & Media Insurance as its first insurance company Member.  We are sure that, with their wealth of experience in consulting for the media industry, they will provide critical advice, guidance and support for our Members. By joining the DPP they have shown their commitment to actively helping to shape and secure the future of our industry.”

We have also met with the DPP to discuss how Performance can be of help to other DPP members, such as by offering preferential rates to DPP members. Keep an eye on our blog for an announcement!

We look forward to the start of a long standing relationship, and where the journey with the DPP takes us.
