Performance partners with Film and TV Charity

By Performance

Performance Film & Media Insurance has teamed up with the Film and TV Charity, joining its Industry Friends programme to help promote a happier, healthier, film, TV and cinema community.

“We’re thrilled to have Performance come on board to help improve the social, financial, and mental wellbeing of people in our industry. It’s only through the continued support of fundraisers, partners and Industry Friends that we can continue to make an impact for the talented people who reach out to us every day”, said Tom Woodward, Head of Fundraising, Film and TV Charity.

The Film and TV Charity has been supporting creatives since 1924, and today offers a 24/7 free and confidential Support Line, as well as access to financial advice and support, help with mental health, bullying and harassment, and provides a range of free practical tools and resources.

“We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Film and TV Charity to support the important work they do, offering the hardworking people in film and TV somewhere to turn during challenging times”, said Michael Wood, Divisional Director, Performance Film & Media Insurance.

For more than 25 years, Performance has been behind the scenes, supporting creative productions large and small, taking the hassle out of insurance so creatives can focus on what they do best – making fantastic content.

“We’re committed to helping creators to keep moving by protecting their business, equipment and projects. And we’re delighted to get behind a charity devoted to protecting the wellbeing of those people who work in the creative industries”, said Michael.
