Short Film competition 2020 - An Incredible Response

Thank you to everyone that entered a film into the 2020 Performance Short Film Competition. The response has been incredible!

We had an enormous record breaking 689 entries across 6 categories and had to whittle this down to a shortlist of 36 – a nearly impossible job! The level of quality within the films we received was high across all of the categories and I know this lead to some heated debates as the shortlist of 6 was reached – a huge compliment to everyone that entered.

One thing that has become clear from the response to our competition was that we are blessed in the UK with a huge pool of creative talent, who will lead us to continue to be a key force in the creative industries across the world. There are a number of challenges to be overcome as we all work together to bounce back from the consequences of Coronavirus but by supporting and collaborating with one another, we will prosper!
